Wow!  What a great event at cafe 1505 and the Shops at East Towne Square last night.  Hundreds of people showed up to support a wonderful cause.  We are so happy to be part of this event.

Cafe 1505 is committed more than ever to sourcing as many ingredients from as close to the cafe as possible.  Over the past three years, we have grown some of our produce and herbs during the season and have begun sourcing local items for our 100 Mile Menu.  We have received great feedback from our guests and even some local press in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about our 100 Mile Menu.

The perfect holiday gift that includes some of our own products and some of our longtime partners.

We are so proud to have had such great success in this our third year of the Cafe 1505 garden.  We have had the privelage to team up with local farmers and producers to serve some exciting 100 Mile Menu Selections.  I have added a handful of pictures to our front page so you can see the fruits (or vegetables) of our labor.  Thank you to everyone who supports us and allows us to do what we do.

Thank you to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for such a nice write up about our deli.  One minor change is that a single serving of deli salad is half a pound, so the Quinoa price at $9.95 per pound serves two and comes with fresh baked rolls.  See you soon!

For all the great dads out there we salute you.  Cafe 1505 is thankful for your efforts and continued patronage.

For the past 20 years Café 1505 has proudly served North Shore community. We appreciate the loyalty that you have shown over the years. What has impressed me most about the relationship we have built with you is your willingness to share ideas and suggestions. Most people in most restaurants would not take the time to share comments on how to improve.   

For years people have asked me, “Why do you do what you do?” While I could offer some deep philosophical reason about my beliefs that the world is intertwined and there are no chance encounters, or that the journey is more important than the result, or that understanding the importance of being is true understanding. But what I think people mean is, “Why do you run a restaurant?” That is a far simpler and perhaps less thought provoking answer. I love it.
